Georg-August-Universität Göttingen / Global Business im Detail
Mit dem international ausgerichteten, zweisprachigen Master-Studiengang Global Business werden Sie optimal auf internationale Arbeitsumfelder der globalen Wirtschaft vorbereitet. Sie erhalten eine fundierte Ausbildung in internationaler Betriebswirtschaftslehre und können darüber hinaus individuelle Schwerpunkte in Ihrem Studium wählen. Durch das obligatorische Auslandssemester an einer der zahlreichen ausländischen Partneruniversitäten der Fakultät oder der Universität erwerben Sie zusätzlich Sprachkenntnisse und interkulturelle Kompetenzen. Der Studiengang bietet zudem die Möglichkeit eines Doppelabschlusses mit der renommierten Universität Nanjing in China.
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor-Abschluss mit mind 180 ECTS (150 müssen bei Bewerbung nachgewiesen werden) im Studiengang Betriebswirtschaftslehre oder in einer fachlich eng verwandten Fachrichtung
- 72 ECTS in Betriebswirtschaftslehre, davon 18 ECTS aus Modulen mit mittlerem oder hohem wissenschaftlichen Niveau
- 15 ECTS in Mathematik oder Statistik oder Ökonometrie
- 12 ECTS in Volkswirtschaftslehre

Global Business
Der Master "Global Business" an der Uni Göttingen ist ein international ausgerichteter Studiengang. Viele Veranstaltungen sind auf Englisch und werden auch von internationalen Gaststudenten besucht. Außerdem ist das Auslandssemester fester Bestandteil der Studienstruktur, bei dem man je nach Interessen aus zahlreichen ausländischen Partneruniversitäten wählen kann. Kommilitonen von mir gehen beispielsweise nach Australien, Südkorea, Japan oder Kolumbien. Das Angebot an Partneruniversitäten ist vor allem im asiatischen Raum sehr groß! Ich selber mache das Double Degree und gehe zwei Semester nach Nanjing, China. Was den Studiengang generell auszeichnet ist die Möglichkeit den Kursplan individuell nach seinen Interessen und späteren Berufswünschen zusammenzustellen. Zum einen, weil man aus verschiedenen Schwerpunkten wählen kann ("Finance, Accounting and Taxes", "Management", "Marketing" oder "Information Systems") und zum anderen, weil es ein großes Angebot an Kursen und Seminaren gibt. Zudem sind die Gruppen recht klein, man kennt sich bereits nach einem Semester und auch die Betreuung durch Lehrpersonal und Studienkoordination ist recht persönlich. Göttingen zeichnet sich darüber hinaus als bunte Studentenstadt aus, die viel zu bieten hat und wo die Wohnungssuche noch vergleichbar einfach ist.

Global Business
Seit dem WS18/19 studiere ich Global Business an der Uni Göttingen und bin bisher sehr zufrieden damit. Am meisten freue ich mich auf das Auslandssemester. Als Global Business Studentin kann ich aus zahlreichen Partnerunis weltweit wählen. Im Master wollte ich unbedingt nochmal ein spannendes Auslandssemester weit weg von zuhause absolvieren. Viele Unis haben eher einen Fokus auf Partnerunis in Europa. An der Fakultät gibt es neben einer Vielzahl an Erasmus Partnerunis (Europa), aber auch ein großes Angebot in Asien und anderen Gebieten der Welt. Das war für mich ein Hauptgrund pro Göttingen - nächstes Semester gehe ich nach Südkorea! Zudem finde ich es gut, dass ich recht frei in der Gestaltung meiner Studienplanung bin.
